Made from a full 8 yards (approx, according to the tartan sett and your dimensions) of your chosen fabric, we fit two leather straps and buckles on the waist, and one on the hip. The front edge has two fringes, and we include two belt (or sporran strap) loops at the back. You won't get quite the same 'swing' from the lighter weight fabric, and the pleats will need to be pressed more regularly. But otherwise the garment is still made to measure to the very highest standards by our expert kiltmakers. All our kilts are hand-made in Scotland and come with free flashes in the same tartan (value £29 UK!) as well as a free copy of our hilarious "What's Under the Kilt" booklet. I love this kilt! Lightweight, modern Fitzgerald Blue tartan, this garment will make a wonderful addition to my spring summer and fall wardrobe! My brother thought it was so striking that he got one, too. We recently wore them together on a bitter cold Boston night and weren't chilled in the least.
